Day 1: Bangkok - Arrival On arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you’re met and transferred to hotel.
After checking in to the hotel you will be free on your own activities.
Day 02: Bangkok – Grand Palace – Canals Tours – City & Temples (B/L) Today we begin our tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the
Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some
fantastic views of the local life. Along the way we will stop over at Wat Arun,
the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated
to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra
Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this
complex we will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to
some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is
well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Po houses a gigantic Reclining
Buddha. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 03: Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Chao Phaya River (B/L) Today we drive to the former capital city of Siam, Ayuthaya. The
ancient city of Ayuthaya is known as the "Venice of the East" due to the fact
that it lies along the Chao Phraya River, the tributaries of which surround
Ayuthaya province. The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident
in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram,
which we will visit in the afternoon. A further visit includes Wat Yai Chai
Mongkol. We lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, continue to Bang Pa
In to visit the Royal Summer Palace. Return to Bangkok, and transfer
to your hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 4: Chiang Mai (B/D) Take a flight to Chiang Mai. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phrathat Doi
Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous and most visible landmark. For dinner, have
a Traditional Khantoke dinner and relax with the sound and the beauty of
the Traditional Northern Thai dance.
Day 5: Chiang Mai (B/L) Travel out of the city to have a close encounter with elephants at Mae Sa
Elephant Camp and relax in the orchid gardens on the way back to the city.
In the afternoon, visit the handicraft village and return to explore the city of
Chiang Mai at your leisure.
Day 6: Chiang Mai (B/L) On the next day, visit Doi Inthanon National Park, Thailand’s highest
peak which rises to 2,565 metres above sea level. Visit the picturesque
Vachirathan and Mae Klangwaterfalls and make a stop at a hill tribe
market. On the way to the mountain peak, visit the twin pagodas built to
commemorate the fifth cycle birthdays of the King and the Queen of Thailand.
Day 7: Chiang Mai – Departure (B) Free leisure time and transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flight back home.
