INTRODUCTION

• Discover the splendors of Halong Bay aboard the Halong Ginger or Jasmine, a wooden junk that combines classic beauty with modern comfort. Measuring 38 meters (125 feet) in length, this newly built, custom-designed yacht features three decks that house an elegant restaurant, two bars, a small library, and a massage room—plus ten luxurious sleeping cabins. With so much space, passengers can truly unwind and enjoy the bay’s magnificent scenery.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong bay - Ginger/Jasmine Cruise (Lunch/Dinner)

• 07.45-12.00: You are recommended to start from your hotel in Hanoi before 08:00am as the transfer to Halong Bay city takes at least 3 hours and a half.
• 12.00-12:30. Welcome by Ginger/Jasmine staffs and embark the tender for short transfer (approximately 5 minutes) to the Ginger Cruise. Welcome drink is served upon boarding.
• 13.00-18.00: Enjoy lunch on board while the Ginger cruise Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay, passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. 
  After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming on a quite beach at Soi Sim Island or sunbathing on the sundeck. 
  At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover Hang Doi with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village.

• 18.30-21.00: Back on board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant. 

Day 2: Ginger/Jasmine Cruise - Halong Bay - Hanoi  (Brunch)

• 06.30: Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. Coffee or tea is served.
• 08.00-09.00: Visit beautiful limestone Sung Sot grotto.
• 09.00-11.00: Buffet brunch is served while enjoy last glimpse of the Halong Bay.
• 11.00 onward: Time to say good bye to Halong and back to Hanoi.

JASMINE BOAT

• Scheduled to join its sister in November 2007, our newest four star junk will set the standard for services and amenities on the bay. Fitted out in the 1930's Indochine style, the Halong Jasmine will feature 21 spacious cabin, restaurant, lounge and two special Jasmine Suites with their own jacuzzi & balcony for uninterrupted views of the bay.

GINGER BOAT

• Measuring 38 meters (125 feet) long and 8 meters (23 feet) wide, custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 20 people. The Reception, Restaurant, Ginger Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails. Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian made Seaward kayaks. 
• While the view is undoubtedly the best feature of each of our ten guest cabins, guests will also appreciate the rooms’ tasteful décor and furnishings. To complement the bay’s natural beauty we have outfitted the cabins in natural materials: wood floors covered with sedge mats; walls covered with woven bamboo panels; and ceilings decorated with bamboo panels hand-painted with a ginger motif. The standing shower, meanwhile, features mosaic tiles in Ginger flower patterns.
