Day 1: Luang Prabang - Arrival (D) Upon
arrival at the airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Luang Prabang
is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The
tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and
cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos .
After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine
of
Wat Aham, Wat Mai; we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount
for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful
sunset view of the city and the
Mekong River. From there, we explore
Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and
handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou
Cave - Kuangsi Water Fall (B/L)
After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city's oldest temple of
Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs
sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang
Prabang temple. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also
gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting
visit to the mysterious of
Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of
various shapes and sizes.
In the afternoon, drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you
can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang
Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Phanom, a well known
weaving village. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang
Prabang: Alms-giving - Hanoi (B) This morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily
early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving
bowls being given offerings from the local people.
Free time for relax for relax until time for transferring to airport for flight
to Hanoi. Our guide will meet and bring you to your hotel in Hanoi city
for overnight.
Day 4: Hanoi (B) In the morning,
you will visit Hochiminh’s Mausoleum (Mondays & Fridays closed), His
House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda on the Westlake.
In the afternoon,
more discover Hanoi with the visit to Van Mieu Temple & Quoc Tu Giam (our
first national university) & enjoy one hour cyclo ride around Old
Quarter.
Relax at a local Coffee shop or “Bia hoi” corner for deeply explore local life
before Water Puppets show at Thang Long theatre.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) After breakfast,
take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding
natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay
with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many
rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for
visiting a beautiful case, if not today, you will do tomorrow according to each
boat/junk’s itinerary. Again your dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy
the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board.
Day 6: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Brunch) In the morning, take
further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf.
Enjoy brunch on board before disembarking.
On the return to Hanoi, we stop on the way in Bac Ninh, for visiting a
special place and the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in the Red River
Delta. We take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang
Communal house & Do Temple, the temple worships 8 (eight) kings of Ly
Dynasty (1010-1225). After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk
songs (duo of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Overnight
in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi - Hue (B) Free time in the
morning before transferring to the airport of Hanoi for noon flight to Hue.
Transfer to a the city check in your hotel. In the afternoon we pay a visit to
the Imperial Citadel, constituted from the Real Fortress and the
Forbidden City, and the market of Dong Ba. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Hoi An (B) In morning we
embark on a dragon boat sail along the Huong River to visit the Thien
Mu Pagoda, and the tomb of Ming MangKing.
In the afternoon
transfer to Hoi An through the famous of Hai Van Pass. The car will stop for the
visit to Cham Museum where display an open air collection of Cham
sculpture. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City (B) Discovery Hoian
truly life by walking tour around this enchanting port town. Follow the narrow
lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French
and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the
400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local
fish market… Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor
shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like.
The next tour is
coming to the home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you will have a brief
introduction to the history, shape, and colour of the lanterns as well as the
many stages of making them. After that you can make your own lantern, decorate,
pack and keep it as a souvenir during the time in Hoian.
In the afternoon, we
transfer to Danang Airport for late flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in
HCMC.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi (B) In the morning drive to Cu Chi, one incredible city basement
constituted from one series of tightened tunnel, used from the Vietcong during
the war with the Americans. In the afternoon pause to the colonial buildings of
Saigon like the Independent Palace, Post Office and the
Cathedral of Notre Dame,
Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho (B/L)
Our car will pick up at your hotel in early morning. Upon arrival at Cai Be,
embark a private boat to cruise around
Cai Be Floating Market to see local people being selling, buying,
exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see
orchard, rice crisped producing process... After lunch taking a cruise along
river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural
setting of Mekong Delta region. About 3 pm, the boat will arrive at Vinh
Long, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market. Then transfer to
Can Tho City for overnight.
Day 12: Can Tho - Cai Rang - Chau Doc (B/L)
Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by boat, we will see the
Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take
in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along
the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking
mill and a rice noodles making shop. Then continue going to
Chau Doc via Long Xuyen. Check in on arrival. Visit the Sam mountain
to enjoy the breath-taking view on the Vietnamese-Cambodian border with flat
rice fields and nice canals, visit caved pagoda. Over night in Chau Doc.
Day 13: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B) After breakfast, get on speed boat to Phnom Penh, going back one of the
arms of the Mekong. In the afternoon, visits of the city, in particular of the
National Museum, rich art of Khmer, of the Silver Pagoda,
inserted in the fencing of the Royal Palace,Preahkeo Morokot &
Central Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 14: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B) We today take
flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap port or airport,
you are met and transfer for Angkor complex exploration.
Banteay Srei: nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of
this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the
excellence of it decorative carving
Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored
sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the
most accomplished Angkor has to offer. We continue to visit the fabulous
Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers
Prasat Kravan - with its unique brick sculptures
Srah Srang - The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing
Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls).
Evening is your
free time for walking at busy pub street, dinner in one of many typical local
food restaurant, pop up a bar for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market.
Day 15: Siem Reap - Angkor Complex (B) We start on our bike and cycle (45 minutes for cycling) or drive to
world heritage areas on the roads less traveled. Ride among the jungle
passing local village and local shop. It’s a very special and acting day as
you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the
West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.

See the South Gate, Bayon Temple- unique for its 54 towers
decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara

The tour start with the visiting to the famous temple: Angkor Wat.
Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and
splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the
world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from
Hindu mythology, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sun set
view form Bakheng hill.
Enjoy 1 hour foot massage before transfer to your hotel.
Day 16: Siem Reap - Departure (B) Early morning we start witness sunrise over Angkor Wat temple and
listening singing birds over the ancient land of Angkor area. About 6:45 am
we walk to nearby Pagoda and offering food to monks. After monks
finished breakfast we start enjoy our breakfast on the ground floor of
pagoda, jasmine tea will be served in the peaceful of pagoda.
Then transfer to visit Tonle Sap Great Lake for cruising, visiting
fisherman’s life, floating fishing village dot the semi-submerged forest
that lines the flood plant rim of the lake, back to visit Chantier
Ecole-Artisan d’Angkor, the place are in the Ministry of Education was
constructed in 1992 and this place renowned woodworking, stone carving and
polychrome training center and workshops. Then visit old market for shopping
until transfer to the airport for flight off.
